Apple MacBook lineup gets messy
Oh Boy, this event felt like, once in a blue moon; Apple, had an event early in the morning. It is just one of those events, where everything feels right in place. Unit you come to an end. It was all about the Mac lineup. Before, I address what we got to see in this Apple Event.
Here’s what Apple was trying to emphasise.
: This event was for those who had the older Mac.
: All about the new Apple M3 Family.
: My personal Favourite is the new Space Grey colour.
What we got, was the M3 chips of Family; on the new MacBook Pro lineup, and the iMac.
If, you’re considering buying one for yourself. I would say, probably wait a bit longer, until next year, or get the M1 MacBook for less. Since it is more than capable enough for all your needs.
It feels these are great to have, yet not a deal breaker IMO. It is especially, considering the current MacBook lineup rage. As, there’s a Mac for everyone, regardless of whether you’re getting M1, M2, or M3 chip.
What, you must consider is the price of the configuration. That’s where everything gets a bit haywire imo.
If I was in for a new MacBook. I would’ve gone with the MacBook Air 15-inch. Since, for me, bigger screen size is more important than what it has to offer. More so, the price of the configuration is indifferent to me. As long, as I wasn’t into, the screen options, MacBook has to offer, I would happily go for the MacBook Air 15 inch, or the MacBook Pro 14 inch.
The iMac has not gotten any major upgrades. Yet, I would say, it’s the one to get. If you’ve not yet upgraded to a newer iMac. It’s the 2nd inning for the iMac. After that, overhaul.
I was hoping for other Mac upgrades, but sadly, we didn’t see it in this event. That’s the Mac Mini lineup.
I know it’s not needed, yet it would’ve been nice.
The New Space Grey looks nice at 1st glance. Have to see it in person to know how it feels visually.
I’m a bit bummed we didn’t see any new colour waves for the iMac.
Do let me know What excited you about this Apple Event.
