iPhone 15: My Wishlist

Here’s what I wish to see on the upcoming iPhone 15 series.

Hopefully, this year Apple feels more excited about, its product lineup. Then it has been in these few years.

Considering, it’s been 16 years since iPhone was launched by Steve Jobs.

We might’ve gotten changes across the Apple lineup. Yet not much with iPhone, as we’ve seen with Android smartphones.

Design.

Here’s what I’m hoping to see from Apple this year. With iPhone 15 series.

We might’ve gotten Dynamic Island on the iPhone Pro models; Yet not on the Regular, wish is fine IMO.

Since, there’s no 90, or 120HZ on the regular models as well. Which we can see a lot on Android smartphones these days. From all price ranges.

Apple might either bring it eventually, or just might see it on the pro models.

Though here’s what I feel we could possibly see, or might be both ways.

If we happen to get 90, or 120HZ on the iPhone Plus this year, then there would be a gap between displays across the iPhone lineup. If not we might see 90, or 102HZ, across the entire lineup.

We could see it this year. If possible, from Apple.

talking about the display, and my conflict with the dynamics island is.

As good, as it has been implemented, it’s nowhere close to what Samsung has to offer, or other Smartphones OEM.

What I truly mean by this’s.

1: It confits, while watching content, and while playing games. It almost feels like you’re more, so looking more at the dynamics island, than what you’re up for on your iPhone.

2: This could be subjective based on personal experiences. I feel the display it has, and the battery life. They both don’t do a great job, as to what iPhone 13 offers across its lineup.

As we know, the AOD (Always on Display) is not working well enough, as it should, even after a few iOS 16 updates, we’ve got so far.

3: This could be just me, as to what I’ve noticed. People are facing connectivity issues on the iPhone, not entirely sure, if this’s just with iPhone 14 lineup, or another iPhone, or smartphones, in general. this generation is between devices from the same Smartphone OEM.

The only possible explanation I could give, as someone who uses tech, and understand technology.

The possibility of this issue could be 5G, or whatever other connectivity issues; that happen with smartphones. In most common cases I’ve seen. Connection drops while calling someone, over a sim, or other wireless networks, such as carrier data, or Wi-Fi signal. If none of this, then the OTA updates take place on the smartphones you’re owning.

Talking about the display on the upcoming iPhone, I really hope. Apple does an in-house Quality check of its display. Since the launch of the iPhone 12, the display on the iPhone has not been as great, as it should be.

You could probably argue the fact, it was the 1st OLED display across the iPhone lineup. It’s true, yet the reliability and longevity, are nowhere near to what they used to be, even before we got the whole iPhone 4, and iPhone 6 issues, that Apple addressed the following year, making it more sustainable.

The uncanny cracks, and scratches on the iPhone, have rapidly increased in numbers. Since iPhone 12 imo… This also includes the green, and black screen issue, with pixels on the iPhone, and other Apple products. Not matching up, to what it felt, like during the purchase of an Apple product.

Battery life.

I’ve been a firm believer, when it comes to Apple battery life, and its debates. How, things work in the Apple ecosystem, with Apple Battery life, and Apple practices with it.

Here’s what you need to understand as an end user. No matter how big, or small of a battery is available on your devices. They shouldn’t be greatly impacted, by, your day-to-day lifestyle. Rather see to it, you don’t overdo certain things on the devices you own.

1: Overcharging your devices. Using it, while it’s on charge.

2: Only use Batter Save mode, when it’s necessary.

3: How big, or small is the battery life on smartphones is. See to it, you’ve at a distance from you. Just in case, things don’t go well.

In Layman’s terms: Don’t have your devices directly in the sunlight, while it’s in your jeans, or formal, and casual dressing (Shirt, T-Shirt). Since the sunlight heat is not good for your body, or your smartphone.

We all the iPhone battery life, has been greatly improved, since the launch of the iPhone 11 series, and how well the iPhone 13 series felt overall.

This year we could see improvement in the battery life of the iPhone 15 series. Since Apple, over the few years has been setting itself a bit back. Making sure we can get the best of both worlds. When it comes to hardware, and software. This year it’s more of headwear improvement, less of software features.

Since, most of what we wish to see, we got it with iOS 15, and 16. Though I do have my fair share of features I wish to see on iOS yet…

We could expect better battery life improvements across all iPhone 15 lineups. Not just for the iPhone Pro models.

I really wish to see the iPhone’s regular battery life, be as good; as the MacBook Air has to offer.

I know, it sounds bonkers. Yet this is my personal preference, over the software side of things.

Software.

As I said earlier, I do have my fair share of iOS features, I wish to see. Here’s one thing I would thank Apple for not being themselves, rather slowly getting where it’s supposed to be with iOS.

The features we’ve seen Apple give us over these 2 years. There, what most of us asked for, over the years.

Features.

: Dark Mode.

: Volume interaction is far better.

: Privacy, and security, to a whole new level.

: Dictation, and Ai enhancements.

: UI, and UX changes over the years.

: Knowing the community, and its foundation to make the life of others, and us. Closer to life. In other words, health, and lifestyle have been at the forefront, then just technology innovation, and the Apple ecosystem, as a company.

Here’s what we’ve seen so far from Apple.

Here’s what I wish to see from Apple next. In terms of features.

: App lock for individuals, or Apps.

: Multi-User Support for devices.

: Enhancement in Dictation, and language translation.

As well, as other minor improvements, across various features from Apple.

Hardware.

If there’s one thing, that’s a hit, and miss in my regards with Apple. It’s the hardware for me personally. More than the camera features, or the features Apple provides, with each iPhone generation.

I firmly believe, we can’t change one perspective, or mindset. It can be our own, the masses we know.

What we can do, is learn to adapt to it, as time goes on. As to what I’m saying, here’s one such article I’ve written: Skullcandy Ink’D Review To have a better understanding.

I don’t dwell myself on, how good of a feature, a smartphone OEM provides. Rather how good of a hardware it’s in the long term. Let it be in terms of longevity, or how sustainable it’s with both hardware, and software. That one can use it for a longer duration. Since technology is improving as days go by. Yet, it’s far from perfect, in usability…

Apple’s hardware choice over the years, has not been great for me. I only came into a realization, when I was using the iPhone 11 regular. The phone was all great, yet the hardware wasn’t for me.

Some prefer curved, flat, or wider displays. I just do not happen to like the wider display on the iPhone 11 regular. To know more; as to what I feel about the iPhone 11 regular, check this below video.

So as I was saying, the wider display was the only drawback for me with iPhone 11. The rest was great.

When the iPhone 13 regular was launched, it was a letdown for me. Since I’ve some sort of notion of how the camera layout should feel on a smartphone. In most cases; Samsung only brand that has understood the smartphone world, since its inception. Apple with iPhone 13 regular was like, make, or break, depending on how one sees it.

Personally, for me, the camera layout on the iPhone 13 was meh. If only the iPhone 12 battery life was good, it would’ve been the best iPhone, after the iPhone 6s for me, IMO. Since both iPhones, just don’t look great, they also had great features; when they launched.

My only hope is, the hardware on the iPhone 15, is much more durable enough, and can manage minor screen cracks, and scratches. As well, the side rallies are not heavy, or flimsy.

Here. I hope, Apple brings, the Apple Watch Ultra body, to the iPhone Pro models. That way, the iPhone Pro Models don’t feel Bulky, and heavy enough; while holding, for a longer duration.

Talking about hardware improvements.

Hardware enhancements wish to see.

: Have Apple Watch Ultra Body.

: Screen Improvements; without being fragile.

: Since size 6.4 inches, for the iPhone Plus.

: Better overall enhancements: Hardware, Software, and Durable enough.

: USB-C.

: Better connectivity, over 5G, and Wi-Fi.

Here are my final thoughts, on what I wish to see, with iPhone 15.

We’ve got a notch on the regular iPhone, bring back the iPhone mini. Hopefully, the iPhone Plus model stays; yet this time comes in 6.4 inches. Better colour options in the iPhone 15 lineup. Since the colours on the iPhone 14 Pro wasn’t great.

Much needed camera improvement, when I say camera improvements, not the number of pixels it has, or how good, the portrait, or landscape picturesque feels. Rather, the photo colour science should be neutral. Then the colours coming from the iPhone feel haywire. Since the iPhone cameras are great, yet with iPhone 14 is not great, video on the iPhone 14 is far better…

I really hope we finally see USB-C on the iPhone soon. As it would be a godsend to have, then not have in the 1st place. Since Apple has it on other devices.

I’m looking forward to the iPhone 15 regular, since it has not gotten any major overhaul from Apple.

Here’s what we know, so far about the iPhone 15 lineup.

Do let me know in the comments, what you wish to see on the upcoming iPhone 15 lineup.
