Given that I’ve read both books, I thought I’d review them together, since both books are written by the same author, and are non-fiction.
Before I review these 2 books, I would like to say to whoever reading this “Politics is not my cup of tea, and I don’t like it” I’m saying this because, both the books talk about Indian politics, over the years, and the different parties. This is what I’ve to say about, both the books.
What Young India Wants, tells about the mini-life history of the author, and about his life in his own words, and later in parts.
The author talks about various subjects from Indian Politics, and Its party, It even talks about the Indian youth, and It’s people of all ages, the cast, the Indian culture, the society, the people from different religions, the vernacular languages, and most importantly, how we as Indians can bring a change into the country, and different states too, and at the end of the book, He tells two stories to the readers.
Now coming to Making India Awesome: It is just what the title of the book refers to, what is written inside the book, It is just like the previous book, only in this book the author doesn’t talk about himself, rather thanks the readers for loving his first Non-Fiction work, tell continue showing love, and support to him, from there, he continues about Indian politics, and above-mentioned stuff, I said here only 2 think he adds ( As far I remember ), He talks about the Indian PM, Gujarat, and about alcohol, apart from it, everything is same, as the first book, only in the second book at ending there no stories, and you can see much improvement in the writing skills, and the use of words, rest is the same. I enjoyed reading both the books. In a short, and easy way, Chetan sir explains, and gives advice to Indian youth, and Its people about India, how changes can take place, and be improved as a nation/country.
Before I give my rating for the book, I would like to say to all ” If you’re just like me, don’t enjoy politics, or the subject”.
I must say, you should read these types of books.” Once in a while in life”. This is my rating for both books, What Young India Wants 4/5, and Making India Awesome 5/5.
